Meanwhile In Banff....

    This mountain (Cascade), and the one next to it (Rundle) are excellent examples of how the mountains came into existence.
    When you look at the upper left area, it looks like slabs stacked up. The top of those slabs was flat earth before it was pushed up to a 45 degree angle, forming a mountain. Check out Rundle for the best example anywhere of geology in action!
